WARD 84
Each year, we select a local cause as our company charity and this year we will be fundraising for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, Ward 84. With over 276,000 young people from across the North West receiving care at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital every year, we recognise that the work that they do is crucial to our local community. With such a huge number of patients needing their services, we understand that there is a strong chance their work is likely to touch members of staff or their families at some point, and Ward 84 sits particularly close to our hearts. Ward 84 is a specialised oncology and haematology inpatient unit, where nurses and doctors work incredibly hard to make the days of children and young people more bearable in the hope that they can one day go home and live the lives they deserve. We’re hoping to raise a large amount, with lots of exciting events already in the diary!
